At the top of the exit ramp, turn left. Proceed three miles on Route 124 East to Madison. Drew is on Route 124 (Madison Avenue) on your right. Enter campus at the traffic light on Lancaster Road. If your destination is the admissions office in Wesley House, please park in one of the first lots on either side of the road. Wesley House is the red-brick historical house bordering the first parking lot on your left.

From Northern New Jersey and Upstate New York (Tappan Zee Bridge). At Suffern, take I-287 South (to Morristown). Proceed as above.*

From Upper Manhattan (George Washington Bridge). Take I-80 West from the bridge to I-287 South (to Morristown). Proceed as above.*

LINCOLN TUNNEL: Follow the signs to the N.J. Turnpike South. Take exit 14 (Newark Airport). 3. From Garden State Parkway Heading North
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 161 for Route 4 East.

Make a left onto Temple Ave. and the Rothman Center is located at the end of Temple.

4. From Garden State Parkway Heading South
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 163 for Route 17 South. 
Continue on Route 17 South until reaching the Route 4-east junction. 
Exit onto Route 4 East and proceed until Hackensack Ave., Hackensack exit. 
Head South off the exit until the first traffic light, which is Temple Ave., and make a left. 
The Rothman Center is located at the end of Temple Ave.

5. From the New Jersey Turnpike heading North
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Interchange 11 to the Garden State Parkway North. 
Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 161-Route 4 east.  Follow DIRECTION #1

6. From Route 80, Traveling East
(From Local 80 only, you cannot exit from express 80)
Exit at Hudson Street-Hackensack-Little Ferry Exit. 
AT end of ramp, turn left toward Hackensack and Hudson Street. 
Continue until road ends, turning left toward Hackensack. 
AT first traffic light, turn right and proceed until road ends. 
Turn left onto River Street (which becomes Hackensack Ave.)
Drive straight through to Hackensack (about 5 min) after passing light at Sears;
continue to second traffic light, turning right onto Temple Ave. 
The Rothman Center is located at the end of Temple Ave.

7. From Route 80, Traveling West

Exit at the Hudson Street-Hackensack-Little Ferry Exit.

Southbound: Entering Elizabeth follow signs for Local Traffic (extreme right). Follow signs to North Avenue. Turn right onto North Avenue (Route 439) and continue to Route 82 (Morris Avenue). Turn right. Campus is on the left.

From New Jersey Turnpike: Leave Turnpike at Exit 13A (Elizabeth). Follow North Avenue West sign onto route 439 which intersects with Route 82 (Morris Avenue) at University. Make right onto Morris Avenue. Campus is on the left.

Take Exit 49B (Maplewood). Stay to the right off the exit. Make the second right, which is a jug handle, and cross over Springfield Avenue onto Valley Street. From 78 West
Take Exit 50B (Millburn), and turn right onto Vauxhall Road. Go three lights and bear right onto Valley Street. Take this street approximately 3 miles to South Orange Avenue. Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the University. Enter through the Farinella Gate on the right.

Proceed down ramp to light. Make right onto1-9 Truck Route. Make first left onto Sip Avenue. At second light, make right on West Side Avenue. Continue to first light and make left onto Montgomery Street. Make left into Parking Deck.

From Holland Tunnel: Exit tunnel and stay right following signs for Kennedy Boulevard/Jersey City. Turn left onto Kennedy Boulevard and continue to Journal Square. Bear right at the traffic light at Journal Square, remaining on Kennedy Boulevard. Proceed to Montgomery Street and make a right. Travel down the hill and make a right into the Parking Deck.

PARKING

Armory Parking Lot: Montgomery Street between Tuers and Jordan (next to the Armory building). There is shuttle service offered between this lot and the campus. However, this is the furthest lot from campus. We recommend that you use the Rec Center or Millennium lots first for your convenience.

Millennium Parking Lot: Montgomery Street between Bergen Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard.

Rec Center Parking Lot: Montgomery Street between Kennedy Boulevard and West Side Avenue.

Public Transportation

Because you can get to campus by many combinations of bus, train, ferry, or taxi rides it is recommended that you Personalize Your Directions. Full-time students may purchase discounted transportation passes through NJ Transit's Quick Tik Portal.

From Newark - At Newark Pennsylvania Station board a PATH Train bound for Journal Square. Once at Journal Square exit the PATH platform by ascending the stairs (one flight). Proceed through the turnstiles. Go up one flight of stairs and proceed straight through the glass doors into the NJ Transit building. Veer towards the right and walk the length of the floor until you see the Platform D doors on your left. Proceed to Platform D (at street level) and board the #10 bus (which runs between Jersey City and Bayonne). Remain on the bus until it reaches the Montgomery Street stop on Kennedy Boulevard.

From New York City - 1) take a PATH Train to Journal Square (trains marked "Journal Square" or "Newark"). At Journal Square exit the PATH platform by ascending the stairs (one flight). Proceed through the turnstiles. Go up one flight of stairs and proceed straight through the glass doors into the NJ Transit building. Veer towards the right and walk the length of the floor until you see the Platform D doors on your left. Proceed to Platform D (at street level) and board the #10 bus (which runs between Jersey City and Bayonne). Remain on the bus until it reaches the Montgomery Street stop on Kennedy Boulevard. OR 2) from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (at 8th Avenue and 42nd street in NYC) take the #99S bus directly to campus, exiting at the Montgomery Street stop on Kennedy Boulevard.
